When we talk about constipation, there are many food or beverages which if avoided can ease the problem. You may want to check if you are take these food regularly, which if avoided may prevent constipation problem you may be facing or which may lead to this problem. In case you cannot totally avoid these then you can at least reduce then intake which is also beneficial.
Alcohol
Regular intake of alcohol especially in larger quantity can lead to constipation since it had adverse effect of normal functioning of the internal organs. It disturbs the sleep pattern and increases the stress in the body which can cause constipation.
Caffeine
Usually Caffeine is taken in coffee and people take it to remain alert. Frequent caffeine intake leads to stress, fatigue and constipation since it always forces the adrenal gland to secrete more adrenaline and also pushes the thyroid gland constantly.
Too Much of Meat Product
Meat product do not have fiber in them and anyway more difficult to digest compared to vegetarian food. Reduce your meat intake to make your bowel healthier and in case you consume meat then either reduce the quantity or mix with other vegetarian food. You should also drink more water when you take meat.
Processed Foods with little Fiber
Processed food or highly refined food are not good for health. For example reduce or avoid flour bread, cookies, pizza etc. Also the food should be neither too cold not too hot. For example Ice cream should be avoided. Soft drinks also interfere with normal functioning of the intestines hence should be avoided.
Processed Dairy Products
Too much of processed dairy products like cottage cheese or butter can also cause constipation. The reason is same as the meat product, which means that they do not contain fibers in them. Take them in moderate quantity.
